About LAL2020

LAL is an international conference organized by the Institute of Ethnolinguistics, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań since 2016. With more than 30 years of tradition in teaching and researching languages and cultures of Asia, we bring together researchers working in various subfields of Asian linguistics.

Our goal is to explore new perspectives on linguistic research focused on Asian languages, and foster exchange between diverse theoretical and empirical approaches.

  • Pragmatics
  • Semantics
  • Syntax
  • Phonology/phonetics
